I visited this campus over summer, and it is definitely my top choice for college! The buildings and scenery are beautiful. There is a great cafeteria and many housing options. Since this is a competitive school, the academics seem challenging yet rewarding. I also like the "change-maker" vibe of this university. Not only does USD want you to be successful in your career, it wants you to be successful in improving the world. The only downside of USD is how expensive it is.
Where the good kids go to school if they can swing it and I know the tech recruiters are way into the graduates, by experience, literally nothing like the recruiting going on at UCSD. Been to job fairs at both, and dealt with students from both and would take a UCSD grad over a UCSD grad for 90+% of the entry level jobs- these kids will tend to be more connected, and better mannered. Very well off kids go to school here but don't usually flaunt it. lots of the old money and Catholic money ends
04 Jan 2021Even though the college is very expensive,NOT ALL THE PROFESSORS ARE GOOD! However, classes CAN BE EXCELLENT if you make them be: during your registration, search how good each professor is in rating websites, look for other people that have already taken that class to hear their feedback, and then, you can have the best professors of this university! Right now,I have seen some changes and improvements on platforms that will help the students to develop their skills and learn via online education
